So last night at my friends 18 I put my coat with my wallet in the bedroom where all the coats were being kept,Not even a notion of anything happening as I knew eveyrone there, being a smal enough party and knowing that nothing would happen.Except for two I wouldnt fully trust, but never assumed they would steal from a friend.

Few hours later I go up and my moneys gone and I know its those two.I go into the club, paid for by a friend and talk to one of those girls who told me after she left the toilet the other said she found 50 euro,So I begin to trust this one as several others back her up.

Next day I'm walking down the street and I see the two and I say to her "Look I heard you found money last night and mine was missing so thatmoney is mine " And she replies with a big scumbag face"Wat are You on abou?" "Look becky I know you have my money" the convo goes on,she asking me who said this,When I then tell her the other girl here did and several others the girl who told me that was here said"I didnt say that..I said she was given it by her mam"...Despite the rfact that she spoke of how "Lousy it was to take it".

This isnt the first time..In June when I had a small party for my "friends" and they were there 25 euro went missing from my wallet as well that was hidden in my room!

What annoyed me the most is the face she pulled when I confronted her.I know it mighten mean much to ye,but no one else bar the other girl would have taken that money as no one there besides them is like that.

Keep your wallet in your pocket. Simple.

No matter where I am, I never let it out of sight.

So you basically accused this girl without a shred a proof? It's your own fault tbh, especially seeing as it happened before!!

As another poster said, always always keep your wallet on your person.
Never let it out of your sight
You cannot trust anybody when it comes to cash dude

I hope you have learned your lesson

O and I would lose the so- called friends whom you suspect of stealing your cash

    Does not compute.

What you should have done when you first found out is walk straight up to her and stick the head in her, then take whatever money she has on her. At least that way whether your right or wrong your not the one out of pocket and no one will ever dare try and steal money from you again. ;)

You need to introduce her legs to a sledge hammer.

My advice is invite this "friend" over to your house for dinner.
Sit them down and have a nice chat with them.
Then when they're least expecting it, BAM!, give 'em the old fork in the eye.

Yeah it's still your own fault.
    Agreed.

gotta agree with ya there ,if theyre scummy enough to take money from a friend ,a 'friendly' nut will do no harm.fcuk em and the horse they rode in on.if that happened t me id confront them straight away and demand my money back.thing is ya actually need proof they took it.like them mouthing off to another friend and it getting back to you. then work away.nothing like someone ya trust robbing money from ya,fcukin lowlifes.

Wise up will you! Most people were only put on this Earth to see what the can take from you. The sooner you put all people into this category and leave them there until you are proved otherwise the happier you will be.

OP leaving your wallet in someone elses house unattended is the height of stupidity. Your "friend" may be a complete dick for stealing it but you are partly to blame for making it so easy for them

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 5,488 ✭✭✭pikachucheeks

Friends shouldn't steal from you, it's as simple as that.
If they respected you, they wouldn't do it.

If you don't speak up and continue to let things slide, they'll keep walking over you and play you for a fool.

Time to drop her as a friend....

In the most humiliating way possible....

    In public.

    That'll teach her.:D
