Did the winner (R.Scott) also win 3,300euro in cash? Or was the ticket taken out of the prizepool fund?

I thought the ticket was added by PaddyPower free of charge as a gesture/added prize! It wouldn't be like PP to do something nice like that tho:D

There was no risk at all for them guaranteing a ticket as it was obv going to get alot of runners. There was me thinking they had actually done something nice for the local players:rolleyes:

    Hi All

Congratulations to all who made the money the weekend and all those who gave up their time and participated over the weekend.

The money raised is as follows

    Friday €100 Game - 1940 - 20 Euro from each 100 x 97 Runners
    Sunday Team Game - 1080 27 Teams x 10 Reg per Person

The Sponsored Horse race raised €1431. Donators: Vera Duffy, Noel Murphy, Noel Furlong, Willie Clynes, Kevin Duffy, Paul O Reilly, Nick O Hara, & Eddie Walsh.

Eddie Walsh from The Loft in Naas won the race and kindly donated the
€1431 to the charity which was a nice touch. Cheers Ed.

Total raised from the weekend through the poker was €4481.

Thanks to Noel Furlong and Liam Flood who also made a very nice donation each to the charity.

Thanks to the sponsors paddypowerpoker.com who made a sizeable donation to the charity.

Thanks to Phil Baker for his time in organising the race night and also for arranging for Philip Rothwell to be there on the night with his Cheltenham Tips (we hope you were taking notes).

Padraig and Eamonn it was a pleasure as always and it is a credit to you guys and the amount of time and effort you both put in the last few weeks in making arrangements for the weekend. The final figures look like they may get to the 15k mark. Well done to you both once again.

Other people have made contributions to the lads over the weekend to add to the total so if we have missed you here, our apologies.

    Regards

    The Jackpot
