Hey, just wondering if there are any painters in the Kildare area who would give a go to a Aug A1 I'll be getting my hands on soon. I wont be getting it painted immediately, but would like to know how much it would set me back when I do it.

Don't know what pattern I would be looking for, so if anyone has any siuggestions of cool looking camo, that actually works, and pics of them I would really appreciate it.

    Any suggestions are appreciated.

quality airsoft supplies do it and even better they have a very cost effective collect and return of your equipment.
Drop them a mail or ask in their forum,

@:Fletch-Ooohhh they looks pertiful, but i don't think I'm a fan of the string stripes. Looks very nice, just not my kind of thing. But thanks for the pics. Brought a smile to my face.

@Daz- Thanks. Like I said, I'm gonna see what QAS are like price wise, just to get a base line on what work needs to go into what stuff. ANy chance of pics of some of your work? Thanks

I know it might sound stupid, but is there camo out there that, when you look at it in person, its very striking, and stands out alot, but when your lying in a bush.

Or even, it doesn;t have to be that good of a camo, as with the aug, most of the body will be against your shoulder, with only the barrel being very visible, so just something really striking (and please, no hello kitten type pics)

And to make matters even more conveluted, needs to go with the British DPM colours

Hay man, I paint em too, Got a particular pattern in mind, the Aug is a pretty good gun to camo, as theres plenty of flat surfaces to work on... heres a sample of one of my augs I painted for my marpat camo...

this one is a plain old 3 COLOR camo, (Quick Job)

Sorry, thanks. But recently found that getting a paint job is a bit out of my bidget.

And saw a Tiger Stripe paint job that looks absolutely savage, so think I might go with something like that

Why would you want it to 'stand out', surely you would want the opposite no?

I know, but I don't want the camo to be all plain and everything. I want it to have some Umph, if you know what I mean

@ Airsofty: Im no fan of painted guns but they look tidy alright, the Jam4 looks almost like a Realtree pattern.

Are you using krylon or something decent?
