av sender with sky hd - remote not working

    Firstly before i start, just to say thanks for the help i got here last week regarding my old sky+ box.
    I've got HD set up and plugged in my av sender, its a 5.8ghz one from Maplin and i've never had a problem with it. Picture is working no problem, but i can't change the channel from upstairs.
    Any ideas why? I've been reading about a magic eye but i don't want to drill any holes.

    have you got the infra red sender and reciever in their correct ports.its a little 3.5mm jack that plugs in.by the way magic eyes are much better ,less interference

    ya i have it set up properly, managed to get a signal through once but no joy since. Had it working perfectly with my sky+ box

    i know it may sound simple but unplug your sender from the sky box.check the
    scart lead .plug it back in firmly.do the same at reciever.make sure they are powered up.
