Neck Pain after Power Cleans and Presses

As the title says my neck gets sore and stiff after a session of Power Cleans and Presses. I also bench and squat but I don't think they're the problem.
I'm just wondering is this normal? How can it be avoided? Is this pain just DOMS? I'm relatively new to Power Cleans, only doing them for the last month or so.
    Thanks.

You're probably leaning back too far/hyperextending your neck in some way, I sometimes do that when doing rows if I forget to watch out for it.

Best thing to do is video your press and cleans. People may be able to help if it is a technique issue.

Failing that, go see a physio:)
