A truck carrying canes must've crashed around Limerick and the scobes cleaned the vehicle out like that plane was stripped in Lord Of War.

I'd love to wrap them with a cane myself, though! :pac:

I am posting this Black Racist Leprechaun video here 'cause I couldn't decide which thread it was more relevant in.

But it's also meant for the following three threads:

'Racists Stabbing In Cinema' .. thread.
'Is It Okay To Say Nigga' .. thread.
    'Leprechaun' .. thread.

However, I think the Limerick Pimps have earned it.

It's funny, but I can't for the life of me figure out why whoever captioned the pic felt the need to add "can we sterilise Limerick now", as if everyone here was as much of a scobe or idiotic as the two in the photo.

Sad, really.....I mean, the lasting impression is basically "one ignorant prick posts photo of two idiotic scobes on the internet".

Not directed at the OP, btw....he wasn't the idiot that captioned it.

Wow, I'm embarressed on their behalf

    Trends are wierd things

There's a trend goin around now where young fellas stand around with both their hands down the front of their jocks. Not sure what they're doing exactly, but I've passed by groups of like 10 of them and they're all doin it

    F*ckin bizarre

    These young kids today.......

I've lived in Limerick all my life and that picture makes it look positively rosy.....

    - Usually there's 30 or so inbred Scumbags menacing Passersby outside HMV and McDonalds and the rain and rubbish is being driven by the gales horizontally into your face......

OK,Trash Culture with an air of Menace. I may be ignorant re.who the stick wielding guys are or where they've been but I am certainly aware of the seedy and unsafe environment that parts of Limerick City Centre have become:(

At least I'll give you some credit for being in some way factual second time around.

I'm not going to defend the indefensible (i.e. scumbags of any shape or form imposing on any city in the country as they do) but there is no reason to slag off an entire city on a half-assed and over-generalised comment.

As for your original "deeply depressing" comment - I certainly didn't see anything remotely resembling that - or even remotely resembling your "seedy and unsafe" description earlier this evening.

I guess it makes a huge difference when you're actually from and in an area, rather than taking your "information" second-hand from the opposite side of the country

Anyway, this was meant to be a thread about a photo - not about bias and ignorance and sarky swipes - so we'll leave it there.

Beg to differ.Parts of Limerick City have become seedy and unsafe and are depressing, hitherto not so.Am from there, visit regularly and have always emphasised its positive character when outsiders slag the area, less so recently though because of personal experience.

When this was originally posted in the Limerick Forum as part of a discussion on how Limerick Scumbags are commonly seen walking around all caned up and high on life, it was mentioned that there seems to be an assault taking place to the top left of the picture.

    - To be fair, its kind of hard to take a photo in Limerick without accidentally recording some form of crime in the background.
