I remember this wort of thing being a fad in the eighties or nineties - the audience votes on how a character acts and the decision affects the outcome of the movie. It didn't really go anywhere.

I like the mobile phone twist - but does that mean that cinemas will be encouraging patrons to leave their phones on? And at loud? Sounds dodgy.

I reckon none of this stuff will take off until 3D has run its course and filtered through to every aspect of multimedia. That's when the studios will be interested in moving forward again.

I love it except for the fact it wont work in reality. Too many 13 year old monkeys in theaters thinking that telling the character to eat a banana instead of providing direction is hilarious

the idea is good but encouraging people to use their phones in the cinema is a bad idea. If everyone in the cinema took it seriously it could be good but how many showings will end up like that do ya reckon?

I can imagine being the only one in a showing and for 90 mins having to talk on your phone lol
