    hi folks

looking at buying a new laptop. i heard that you need 4gb to run windows 7 fastly?? looking for around a 15 inch screen, for college work, and browsing. any recommendations??

so basically a good laptop, which is sustaianable, battery life not too important, but with a good run speed.

Forget about people who tell you that you NEED 4GB of RAM to run windows 7, it will run fine on half that. Once it's got 2GB it'll be fine. What budget?

if you only want word processing anything will do
