Best Wii Games since start of 2009?

I sold my launch Wii at the end of 2008, and had all of the big titles up to then (Mario Galaxy, Zelda, Mario Kart, MP Corruption, and about 12 others)

With Mario Galaxy 2, Metroid Other M, and a new Zelda on the way (and the Wii nicely priced at €180), I'm getting that Wii itch again.

What are the best games from the last 15 months or so? I know NSMB is a given, Metroid Prime Trilogy will probably be high on my list, A Boy and His Blob looks beautiful, and I could go for more Boom Blox with the sequel.

What else is worth looking at?

Tales Of Monkey Island was released on WiiWare (as was season 2 of Sam & Max, season 1 of Sam & Max is available in bricks and mortar in case you missed that).

Played those already, Irish Halo. Cheers. :)

Add Dead Space Extraction to my original list.... holy crap that looks like fun.

Red Steel 2 is looking good.

Little Kings Story almost out pikmins pikmin if that makes sense.

Tatsunoko vs. Capcom: Ultimate All-Stars Beatem up tastic.

Okami (cant remember when that was released, may be pre 09) beautiful game zeldaesque.

Rabbids go home is a laugh.

Haven't played the following games, but look good.

No More Heroes 2 should be better than the first one, which was pretty good in its own right.

Monster Hunter Tri looks like it will be good online.

Endless Ocean 2 is supposed to be relaxing and a bit more gameplay than the first one.

Lost Winds 2 is supposed to be very good on wiiware.

NyxQuest: Kindred Spirits is another wiiware that looks the business

    Thanks folks.

Scratched that itch today, and now I'm back in the Mushroom Kingdom, the USG Ishimura, and Tallon IV. :)

Hate that condom they put on the wiimote, though.... who thought that was a good idea? Took it off within 3 minutes,

Same as you Dave.. sold my launch Wii about the same time as you.. and bought myself a 360.

But bought a Wii a month back and have had fun trying to find the games I've missed.

I've heard Madworld is very good too BTW.

What have you been playing on it, Brian?

I saw Madworld in Xtravision for €7.....
Boom Blox Bash Party is less than £10 delivered on Zavvi.

Madworld is great fun, seems to be going cheap from a few places at the minute too.

Not played too much so far.. as Mario Kart Wii is getting 80% of my time on it.

Other notables include Resident Evil 4 and New Super Mario Brothers.

Silent Hill: Shattered Memories is brilliant as well.

You can also add the glorious looking Muramasa: Demon Sword to the list.

Agree with all the other choices here but Punch Out should be cheap now and is fantastic.

De Blob is awesome as well if you didn't play it before.

Just finished the pirate freighter in Metroid Prime (again).
Probably the first time since 2003 playing this, and it stands up really well!

No More Heroes should be €5 in Xtravision if you want to play that before the sequel comes out.

Boom Blox Bash Party was €10 in Dunnes before Christmas. You might still be able to get it now.

Have you played Broken Sword Director's Cut on anything else (DS, iPhone)? That came out last March for the Wii, should be cheap enough now.

All this talk of Wii games makes me want to splurge on that for a change instead of 360 all the time :)

Go for No More Heroes, well worth a run-through.

If you have a gamecube pad and and memory card then i'd recommend looking for Killer 7 as well, made by the same developer and probably the most brilliantly bonkers game ever

For two player hillarity, check out House of the Dead: Overkill, especially if you have the "Hand cannon" holders for the Wii controls.

Picked this up a few days ago. Great style to it, and very very funny.
