    Hi Linuxsas,

I just did a class 2 medical last week. Thankfully all was in order. The Doctor I went to charged me €120. I thought this was quiet good value. If you want her details let me know. (she is based in Kildare)

    She did the following tests:

    eye test (with colour test)
    hearing test
    flexibility test (measuring your movement)
    General health questionaire
    listened to chest
    ECG
    lung capacity test
blood test (not too sure what they tested for?)

I think that was pretty much it...

Where are you doing your PPL?

When I did mine the hearing test and lung capacity were omitted. The doctor seems to have a little flexibility in judging what needs to be examined...
