Hi,
A bit of an unusual one here.
My mother grew up in a house in cork which has been abandoned since.
My uncle lived in this house all his life and the property has remained empty since his death in the mid-nineties.

The property has sustained considerable neglect in the intervening years. My mother's family never owned the property but rented all along. When my uncle died my mother still has the rent book from the property. Rent has not been paid at all since my uncles death.

My question is does she have any rights (squatter's rights) to the property?
Does anyone know who we can contact to bring the issue to a close?
