Why are you looking for a spinning bike - is it for home use? I'd question how often or effectively you'd use it alone. In a gym there's an instructor yelling, music blaring and others to 'beat', but not at home. Would you not consider a proper bike to use on the road and a turbo trainer for it so you can use indoors if too cold/wet/short of time?

+1. I don't think they are cheap either, you would be better off joining a gym that offer spin classes. Like Ken says, it's very much about the "routine" laid down by the instructor.
