    My eyesight means a lot to me you know.

    I could imagine living without sight. It would suck but I could manage. I would think being completely deaf would be unbelievably scary and lonely for me. Not to mention the lack of music or laughing sounds.

    When a blind person is daleking down a busy street everyone will invariably get out of their way. But what happens in the rare occasion where two blind people are travelling head-on from opposite directions?

    (These are the things I ponder in the morning)

    They will probably avoid each other due to their intuitive use of the white sticks and/or guide dogs

    Touch. Think about it. Not being able to feel any sensation. No one us have experienced it so we take it for granted. But it would be horrible

    I wonder... you'd be able to guide your fingers but wouldn't know when to stop unless you looked at them. You'd smash through the keyboard probably.

    But with touch it's everything. Never been able to know what it is like to touch another human being, a hug would be no good, you would never know what it feels like to kiss, have sex, hold a child, the list really is endless!!

    Thermoception - Sense of heat
    Proprioception - Sense of location of body parts
    Nociception - Sense of pain (different nerves for pain, pressure and heat)

    Being deaf would be horrible, but I would still be able to communicate and to see all the beauty of the world.

    Its terrible I know but I can't stand blind people, I don't see why they should be allowed wander around the city when they can't see where they are going. And when you offer them your arm to help them over the road they do that graspy thing which freaks me out. I know its wrong to think like that but they terrify me.
