    Hey guys,

I've recently started playing rugby (i know theres a thread bout new players laready, but this is a bit more specific).
I've fallen into the role of prop and was wondering could anyone give me tips on what to focus on in training or the gym so that i can improve a bit.
I'm not the biggest prop out there (i'm 6 foot, 230 pounds) but not the littlest either!

    Thanks lads

    Hey Norman,

This really isn't the forum for this sort of stuff. Propping is a very specialist area/skill and requires careful training in a safe, controlled environment. (I speak as a former tighthead). The best thing you can do is work closely with your coach/trainer and see if they can point you in the right direction, rather than taking random advice from d'interweb. Good luck with it.
