That first photo is from June 1984 when President Ronald Reagan visited Ireland. Take a look at some of the photos on Irishairpics.com in which some of the aircraft involved feature, such as:

Great post. I have plenty of oldies that I took when I was younger that I must scan in.
What's the story with the Shorts 360 there, is it jacked up at the front or what? They didn't sit that high at the nose! I used love those planes!

Pity the 747 ended up in a heap, always thought the 747 in Aer Lingus livery looked fantastic. Great photos!

Great shots. The photos of the 747 are amazing, really show its massive size. I never realised just how massive they were until I stood near one at ground level.

Crushproof that photo looks like a crashed or unbuilt model 747! :D

Someone should buy it and turn it into a hostel.

Well done Steyr & Crushproof, great memories. Here are some of my own.

The first photos are like Steyr's first photo but mine was taken in Baldonnel. I have more of the internal of the choppers, if I can find them I'll post them here.....

The second batch were taken again in Baldonnel at the 1993 Air Show (I think) where I met your Uncle Frank G for the first time, nice guy.

Actual there was a guy on airliners.net recently had pposted pics of his sounvenirs of EI-BED. He knows the guy in Arizona who was cutting her up. He has a desk made from a piece of fuselage, also has the section of the fuselage that had 'St.Kieran' on it.

CH-53s: Love them, there is a hulking agression about those choppers. Real mean attitude.
