Hi, i have a business idea in mind, it is something that is already available to buy on the net, but I would be adding value to the product & saivng people hassle and money. My question is, how do I find out who supplys the products to the retailers on ebay and other sites?

Can you not find out who makes the product and get a list of distributors from them?

the product i am interested in selling is car bumpers, do you reckon european sellers on ebay are getting them manufactured in their own country .ie england or germany or importing from Chinese, India, Taiwan etc? They do conform to the European "E" mark standard...

What separates you from your competitors? If you are adding a fitting service alongside sales for example, how are you going to communicate this to your potential customers?

these are usually imported from asia plus it is a very competitive market as there are suppliers in the Irish market, that as far as i can see can't be beat on there prices, you would need to be buying 15k-20k of the makers products to be getting any kinda of a decent return in the current market and if you don't do homework you could be stuck with a very expensive headache

If I go ahead with this I will comminicate this through my ebay store, and on the product photo, I would also include, prepared and fitted. I would be offering the customer a cheaper, more hassle free way of going about replacing their current bumper, ie due to it being damaged or just for looks sake...
