Yea, I was looking in Go Tactical in wexford, nearest shop to me since im in Enniscorthy, and their is 1 for €150 with hi-cap mag, and the gun is beautiful looking. Im getting it for my B-Day nxt monday and with the recession and since im only 15, ill want to get a good one that is reliable and will last.

    Tnx lochdara

To be honest, you can't go wrong with the JG one, especially for that price, rock solid internals and ultra reliable, one of the best clones going. Even the batteries are fairly decent.

What Lefty said - they're pretty much the perfect starter aeg.

Drop into SE airsoft they will set you on the right path they have the full range of JG aegs ask for steve or fiona or they have thread in the sites and retailer section
being only 15 you will need a parent or guardian with you to make the purchase for you

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,463 ✭✭✭Leftyflip

    €150-€160, well worth it.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 53 ✭✭Brianc102

    Is it accurate??

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 786 ✭✭✭lochdara

well you wont be shooting 5 cent coins from 50 yards but it will hit a person at 30 quite happily so yeah fairly accurate

Pretty decent accuracy. I mean, this is airsoft as Lochdara says - there are limits to the accuracy of most airsoft guns - especially starter guns. But the G36 types are better than most starter guns (and even better as some supposedly 'better' guns). Also they're easily upgraded (by good people like Lefty who posted above) to give better accuracy (tightbore barrel), more speed (change the motor to a high speed motor) etc. But if you're starting I think it's the best you could go with - I started with two different JGs and they were grand - they do exactly what you need to be able to get out and play.

jg g36 was my starting gun and i havent had a problem with it yet its even gone swimming:D [not recomended]its very sturdy and has outranged e few people with some better guns[supposedly:)] and the jg comes with a tightbore already in it so it the gun 2 go with

Yep its quite the nice AEG. Very Mod-able so you can customise it into anything that suites your needs. Make sure you get a new battery as well cause teh stock one is only for testing the gun not for play.

Oh when you know what a hop is change it in this gun the stock one is not the best.

Thanks for all the help lads!!
But earlier today I was in Go Tactical Wex and they had no G36C's in stock (forgot to put the container on the ship in Hong Kong).
so instead I bought a M15A4 carbine and its brilliant

Don't mean to plug, but if you have a look at "www.irishairsoftsites.com" it will give you info on some of the sites around the place. It doesn;t have all of them (yet) but it has a fair few

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 53 ✭✭Brianc102
