Locking bike to bike rack

How do you guys lock your bike to a bike rack? Don't have a bike rack yet, but looking at buying one and wondering if I need to consider any specific type from a security perspective? Just thinking about securing the bike while I go into a shop etc etc

http://www.sheldonbrown.com/lock-strategy.html - rear triangle. If you've quick release on the front though I'd take off the front and lock it to the back with the 1 lock if that's all you have. But I go with a good u-lock + cable lock together when leaving the bike anywhere.
