CRO form / Advice / Per-minute advice

    Hi,

I know there are a number of services to help complete the CRO form, and I found a web-based one - registeracompany.ie with a service for €75.

I want to do it myself - to get my head round it and to keep down costs.

I have a couple of questions, if someone has any advice - or if anyone with the relevant expertise can do advice over the phone billing per-minute.

Question is about the section "Company capital and stamp duty statement" --

-- What criteria should I use to decide total vaue of authorised shares and total number of authorised shares?

-- Are there any tax implications related to the figures I put in here?

-- The bit below that on the form: "class of authorised shares" and "total number issued shares" -- I don't know how to classify / what to put here...?

-- The next bit -- "total value issued shares" and "total number issued shares" -- I don't know what criteria to use to decide on what to put here...?

-- And then the bit below that: "class of shares issued" and "number in each class" -- I don't know how to classify / what to put here...?

Thanks for any help, or offer of per-minute billing help on the phone.

    Richard

Just remember you have to pay an additional 100 euro CRO filing fee and it could take you at least 4 weeks....

And there's a chance the company name you require won't go through as no one actually checks the name for you with registeracompany. It's an online automated service. Even if the name isn't in use in CRO, it doesn't automatically mean it's available.

I suggest you deal with a company formations business. You really do need to know what you are about when you are forming a company due to hidden costs with CRO. I use omnipro - www.omnipro.ie who look after the whole process for €250 including all charges and VAT and provide you with all share certs, minutes, statutory registers and company seal. It really is a no brainer. I would not consider at any stage trying to do it myself and I have a good deal of knowledge about company law! Just for clarification purposes, I am not connected with omnipro in any way other than they provide me with good service.
