Following up on the earlier thread about the russian cameras. My father has an old zorki rangefinder which I am planning to borrow and try it out. I was wondering is it easy enough to get B&W film developed now and can you use a negative scanner to upload the negs into P-shop?.

if you're based in dublin, gunns do b&w processing at €4.50 a roll dev only, but you can also get colour process b&w film that any place which processes film will be able to handle.

If you are loading in to photoshop anyways you can just shoot color film and convert to B&W.
There is tons of the expired free film still floating around (heck, if you can't find any and want some I have a few hundred rolls left and am happy to hand over several) and you can get it developed and scanned for between 3-5 euro a roll.
Even trying to get a film meet up this weekend going over in the photo expeditions forum. The more the merrier.
