    Hi all!

I'm going to this destinations in early June; Oslo, Stockholm, Riga, Frankfurt, and Morocco. Posted a thread on Morocco but got no direct replies so guess nobody has much on it.

But for the others, I'll be spending approximately 2-3 days each and wondering is there anything really worth doing outside the normal touristy sites, like even a bus for an hour away to something good, just wondering if anyone could pinpoint me to a few things??

    Would greatly appreciate it!

where in morocco?? its big country

there is a themepark just outside oslo if that interests you, easy way to pass a few hours and there is a bus from town every few minutes from near the railway station that goes to and from the park. you can also go on fjord cruises from oslo, nowhere near as spectacular as the fjord cruises in western norway but it would pass the time

frankfurt isn't far from trier which is the oldest city in germany and still has its preserved roman ruins. the countryside west of frankfurt towards luxembourg is really lovely, quaint villages between the rolling hills

While in Frankfurt you could go on a day trip by train to Nuremberg or Wurzburg. I went out to Nuremberg on a day trip from Munich and it really is a beautiful city:). The Old Town (or city centre) was rebuilt exactly as it was before WW2 and is full of magnificent buildings. You can also see the courthouse where the Nuremberg trials after WW2 took place.

Nuremberg is 2 hours from Frankfurt on the high-speed (ICE) train. :D

Yeah, thanks for all that help, slowly finding some interesting things to do apart from the typical sightseeing etc.

As for Morocco, I'm going to Marrakech, Casablanca, Fes, Rabat and Tangier
