My 2 kids age 7 and 5 are finishing up their swimming lessons soon thats done thru the school. Id like to continue with the lessons while they are use to it. Can anyone recommend a place to bring them for weekly lessons?

I've seen kids swim classes in Leisureland. They probably have them in Kingfisher and others too.

Hi, the Kingfisher in Renmore do both group and individual kids swimming lessons.

Galway / Shark / Laser - any of these swim clubs and they operate from Leisureland. I think swimming is such a brilliant sport for youngsters and a great way to make friends, it's great that schools do it now too

Ya, after ringing around, I have found swimming lessons in leisureland, €80 for 11 lessons, the best quote by far.
Starts after Easter so happy out.

    Thanks for the feedback

My kids do swimming at Carlton (used to be Days) and have enjoyed them there.

try the sea. it sthe best palce to learn swimming.
there used to be swimming class in salthill at one stage.
the water is not taht cold this time of year. the kids have less chance of picking something up in the sea than the pool.

its not going to kill them or make them ill.it costs you nothing and you don't have to worry about opening hours.

kiddies wetsuits are quite cheap.lidl or aldi will probably have them on sale soon.
