festival apartments edinburgh

    anyone ever booked an apartment with this crowd "festival apartments". could only find one review about the place and it wasnt too plesing to say the least. their website shows these great apartments but the guy in the review says they're nothin like whats on the web site. off to edinburgh this weekend.

    anyone any info about them?

    Holyrood apts at the end of the long mile (other end to the castle) are fabulous!

    we already have the other ones booked cant change as we.ve been charged for them already

    I had my Hen Party in Ediburagh and had a MOST unpleasant experience, we stayed in a Festival Apt, West Maitland Street West End, Edin. and we were SHOCKED when we saw the state of the place! Half the beds weren't made up, (not to mention that there wasn't enough beds).... there was a sink blocked in one of the bedrooms full of stinking water and 2 mattresses up against the wall! There was no shower head on 2 of the showers, wires exposed in the hall way belong to a set of very dodge fairy lights! The locks were broke on the doors, and the paint was falling off the doors. The place was the opposite to how it had been described.

    One of the ladies on the hen left her dress behind, and I e-mailed the Landlord and requested to have it sent back, offering to cover any postage, and I didn't get a reply! I complained in numerous e-mails about the state of the place and never got one reply!
