Townsend bottom bracket

After many years of faithful service my beater/dog running machine has worn out the bottom bracket. It's an old townsend citybike from the early 90's and I can't figure out what type of replacement bracket to get. The cranks etc are still fine so worth replacing the bracket. It's worth holding onto for the trips to the shops/pub because few would even attempt to rob it and I don't want to use one of my good bikes for this task. Any ideas on where to get a replacement bracket?

Is it a 1 piece or a 3 piece? You can get replacement bearings for both, cups for the 1 piece maybe more difficult to get.

If its a 3 piece, you can bring it into this century by installing a Sealed BB, you just need to measure the size of your BB shell and Axle length.
I doubt you will have issues with the threads.
