Looking at all the requests for training advice got me thinking there should be an individual stickied thread for training from everything for complete beginner to specific aspects of training such as drills plyometrics. The idea is that here we can come up with a comprehensive list that we can refine which can be stickied to help all Boardies so here goes

Hal Higdon training plans (great for beginners especially 5k, half and full marathon training plans
    http://www.halhigdon.com

Cool Running plans (couch to 5k plan particularly good for beginners)
    http://www.coolrunning.com/engine/2/2_4/index.shtml

Lydiard training plan and philosophies (more for seasoned runners and higher mileage people)
    http://www.coolrunning.com/engine/2/2_4/index.shtml

Jack Daniels theory (again more advanced)
    http://www.coacheseducation.com/endur/jack-daniels-june-00.htm

All things running related great website for beginners to elite
    http://www.brianmac.co.uk/

Running literature (for the more seasoned runner)
    Pfitzinger and Douglas "Advanced Marathoning"
Tim Noakes "The Lore of Running"

Feel free to add ones you think may be relative
