I'm completely clueless here. Bought my son an ipod from Santa and got my brother to upload some music for him so he wants new music now.
I uploaded itunes to my laptop, but dont have visa card so cant seem to buy any of their music.
Can I use other sites? If so, can I store the songs I find on those sites in the itunes library or do I need another library???
    I'm really lost.
Is there a step by step to 'How to upload to my ipod' anywhere? I did google that but can only see stuff about itunes....Many thanks.

If you have CDs, you can use itunes to 'rip' the tracks from the CD's and put them on the iPod.

Any tracks you can find to download from the internet that are in MP3 format can be put onto the iPod and into the Itunes Library.

You get tracks into the Library by importing them into iTunes (File Menu) first, then you can transfer them from itunes to the iPod.
