Isn't it gas the way good aul Pat only read out the anti texts! Wouldn't be suprised if himself & Gormless often frequent the local coffee shop for a serving of freshly ground bulls**t! Probably cycle on a tandom bike to & back cause 2 seperate bikes & all the Co2 they'd emit would be bad for the environment!!

Found the whole thing very snooty on RTE side & can't believe for a minute that all the lads interviewed were unemployed! Bit of creative editing no doubt!

What i can't understand is how they couldn't tell the difference in the calls for the hounds. it was pretty obvious to me! if they couldn't tell the difference in that they must think all songs sound the same too!

    Thanks Moose.
It seemed like a lob sided report to me.
Does anyone think anything could be done over the media to promote hunting, shooting and fishing. Every report I hear always seems to be tilted to favour the anti's.

I just got my local paper today and there is yet another letter published from the campaigns director of the association of Hunt Sabatours titled "Fina Geal Rapped for supporting Stag Hunting" This idividual has a letter published nearly every week in this local paper here in Mayo and I am more than sure in if you all check your local paper the same letter will be in all of them. I think i will complain!!!:D

You know, the only reason he keeps getting published is that he keeps writing in...

True but it is complete and utter non representative rubbish, I would safely say that 99% of the people who read the paper couldn't give a toss about him and his opinion!!

    And yet...

    And yet...

......how many of the 99% of the people you mention have EVER written in to that paper or any other to either avail of their "right-to-reply" to the Anti position or to proactively write in to support their chosen sport?

At a very rough guess, I'd estimate (at a distance and not having met any of the 99% myself) that the figure would be somewhere around 0 and Zero % of the 99%.

The "Anti's" are very well organised and very well-versed in the art of letterwriting. They also know which emotional and visceral buttons to press with the Meedja and da Peeple. My advice - Take a leaf out of their book and get propagandising in support of your sport.;)
