Guys looking for some recomendations. I'm in the market for a new car 2nd hand though. I have 8k to spend and no more thats my limit. I'm looking for a family car with plenty of room, max size engine 1.8 Diesel would be my option. I currently have 02 picasso but she is heavy on petrol and expensive when silly things go wrong to be fixed. New car must be Nct'd. Basically i'm looking for makes and model's you guys think are relieable and not to troublesome. I would think about a picasso again but would like to know what else is out there. Speedo must be in KM'S for the wife and a manual or Auto makes no difference. Nice boot to even if was a 7 seater that the 2 back seat folded down or something.

I will be using it to drive on Holiday to France this summer and have a baby in a car seat, 1 in a booster seat and an 11 year old, will kit it out with a roofbox for the holiday.

Thanks in advance guys and even if you know of any bargains out there let me know thanks. I'm willing to buy private or garage but i think my euros would probably go futher with a private sale.
