With recent number 1 hits on both Beatport and DJ Download charts, the UK’s premier house duo HOXTON WHORES have been making major waves on the international scene with their impressive biography, busy touring schedule and massive studio output for the past decade…

The coming together of great minds stems back to when the pair created one of the UK’s biggest and most successful independent dance music distribution companies – Essential Direct. Having the world’s upfront music at their finger tips means they have always been ten steps ahead of the rest. If you’re on a dance floor and the Hoxton Whores are at the helm – you’ll soon know about it! Their back catalogue reads like a dance music bible… their tour diary like an airline departure board... to put it simply – the Hoxton Whores are massive!

With a major love for the industry the Hoxton’s invested in their own music studio's, setting on the trail to establish themselves amongst the worlds best producers - confirmed by the creation of numerous club anthems, and in April 09 putting themselves at the top of the pile with a N0.1 hit with "Devil Toy" on Beatport.com and DJ Download simultaneously. Also hitting the top of the physical sales charts (# 20) and daytime radio playlists in Australia is the Hoxton’s new project with the Stafford Brothers, ‘Wherever’ signed to Ministry of Sound. The track has been making big waves - picked up by Virgin Airlines for use on their promotional videos and repeatedly played on MTV. The guy’s have just finished the huge follow up single with the Stafford Brothers, ‘Love Lasts Forever’ which will be due for release towards the end of the year. Watch this space!

In the studio Gary Dedman and Kevin Andrews have churned out well over 300 dance floor smashes under their signature guise of ‘Hoxton Whores’, and aliases: Stereo Scum, Disco Darlings and Fun Da Mentalists. Their remixology reads like the A-Z of the world’s biggest artists from Deep Dish to Faithless; Danny Howells to David Morales and Leftfield to Arrola, whilst their cheeky bootlegs are infamous on the club scene. 2009 is set to be the Hoxton Whores biggest year yet. The first 4 months has already seen DJ tours of America, Australia, Asia & Dubai and following the No.1 track on Beatport and DJ Download, "Devil Toy" is now signed to Toolroom Records awaiting a massive summer release. The boys are very pleased to have the track signed to one of the biggest labels in the world right now and will be working with Sandy B on the new vocal. Watch out for new Hoxton Whores original tracks and remixes for the summer period on MOS (AUS), Stealth (NL), New State (UK) and Peppermint Jam (DE) plus a huge remix of David Morales ‘Needin You’ forthcoming on CR2 (UK).

At a Hoxton Whores gig, you’d be forgiven for thinking it was Christmas. As a DJ act; you won’t find more energy in a duo anywhere in dance music! They’ve an uncanny knack for whipping any audience into a complete frenzy, whether it’s from their inability to stand still, or their love of throwing freebies into the crowds. The Hoxton’s have held residencies at some of the biggest clubs in the UK along with a bi-weekly residency at Eden in Ibiza. For summer 09 the Hoxton Whores have announced a brand new Ibiza residency hosting their very own ‘Whorehouse’ events at 3 exclusive dates @ Eden throughout summer (6th July, 3rd August & 7th September). The parties are set to make a big HW stamp on the island – bringing the fun back into clubbing and encouraging dressing up in the Burlesque theme, whilst listening to dynamic and brand new HW underground tracks fresh from the Hoxton Studios.

Added to their relentless march to international domination the Hoxton’s have launched ‘Whorehouse’ events in the UK and continued to develop the Hoxton Whores LIVE project that combines the guy’s immense DJing and production talent, taking it to the next level with the HW vocalists performing their tracks live creating an unforgettable musical experience like no other. Last Sept (08) saw the guys perform Live with the HW vocalists on the main stage at the MTV Dance festival in Slovakia to over 15,000 people. As DJs the Hoxton’s have performed and headlined at some of the biggest dance festivals in the world including Glastonbury UK, H20 South Africa, Colors Festival Helsinki and many many more….

Gonna be a great night, mate of mine has the Hoxtons over again, he had them over a few years back @ Traffic and it was a top night,looking forward to this.
