cable needed

I bought a vga to Dvi cable for my in focus projector but the Dvi end is to small so I went into maplin today with the projector and they said it is a dvi with more pins
than normal ?
He did not know what they were called just large Dvi Anybody know what they are called.
Any one have one for sale or know were I can pick one up tomorrow .Please

cheers I think its a dvi-i.It must have more pins than a normal dvi.

edit its a = M1-DA analog computer cable will try peats tomorrow anywere else I could try pick one up in store.
