    Hey guys!

    I'm heading over to Trance Energy in Utrecht in Holland this April nd i'm tryin to find cheap hotels in around Amsterdam but they all seem to cost an arm and a leg jus wondering if anyone knows any good websites or hotels that you might have stayed in before. Any suggestions would be helpul cheers!:D

    How long are you going for? Unfortunately it is very difficult to get cheap hotels in Amsterdam. The cheapest I've paid was €40 a night and that was for a hostel. Bear in mind it's Trance Energy weekend, Awakenings weekend AND Easter weekend so everyone is going to be expensive and it doesn't help that you've left it til last minute. I've been booked up since 1st week of January. I'm renting a 4 person apartment which is in the centre. Staying for 5 nights costing us €42 each a night.

    Why don't you consider staying in Utrecht if you can? Would be cheaper and I recommend The Apollo Hotel (€79 per room) IIRC.

    All is good i managed to get a botel in amsterdam for myself and a mate for €165 each for 4 nights and have my Trance Energy tickets printed off. The only killer now is flights which i've also left last minute! we're flying out on the Thursday before and coming back on a Monday i've checked Aer Lingus €224 return!! Checked Ryanair no flights flying out on the Thursday to Eindhoven and i can only see the flights getting more expensive as the weeks go on......DISGUSTED!!!
