I have a Garmin forerunner 305 but using different software to log my runs. The thing is they all can be different. Not by much. But enough to do my head in. Anyone know why there different and which one is right?
    Example of this mornings run.

Garmin 305 watch: 6.08 mile run. Time 55:52.92. Avg. pace 9:12. Best pace 7:12. Calories 717.

Garmin Training Center:6.08 mile run. Time 55:52.92. Avg. pace 9:11. Best pace N/A. Calories 717.

Garmin connect: 6.08 mile run. Time 55:52 Avg. pace 9:11. Best pace 7:11. Calories 717.

Heartrate for 3 above is Avg:152. Max 173

SportsTracks: 6.06 mile run. Time 55:53 Avg. pace 9:13. Best pace 7:40. Calories 717. Avg. heartrate 155

SportsTracks is always completely different. Most of the time the calories are out as well. I think it rounds up the seconds. But how does it get the distance different? Even when the distance is the same. SportsTrack averages are different. The Garmin watch and software are slightly different as well. Ok maybe I am nitpicking but it just bugs me:) that they all can be different. It is only simple maths after all:)

Noticed the same thing with SportsTracks myself as well and didn't manage to figure our the reaons why it does it. My best guess is that it is removing points where it thinks you were stationary so is making its guesses on a smaller set of data points than the Garmin software.

There should be a little calculator icon to the top right of the Summary section, if you click on that and change it to "Use manually entered values" it should then match the Garmin softwares method of counting. I didn't find how to set that as the default, more accurately I got bored of looking.
