    Hi All,

Hope this is in the right place.

Just lookin for some information from some one who might know more than I.

Booked a holiday through last minute.com,due to fly out in 8 weeks, its a flight and accommodation package to new york.

Due to medical reasons i may have to cancel it,I contacted last minute who told me tough luck,my next call is to the credit card company who provide me with travel insurance when i book a holiday with my card to see if i could get a few quid back from them.(havent contacted yet).

I would actually prefer to delay the holiday than cancel it,last minute wont entertain this so im wondering is it worth my while contacting the airline(continental) myself and seeing can i change dates till later during the year and the same with the hotel or are there any other options available to me.

Thanks for any help in advance.

The airline won't touch a booking made by an agent, so it's between you and lastminute.com. Check if your card's insurance will cover it - however credit card policies tend to be quite basic, so it may not be of use unless it's a comprehensive travel insurance policy and not the basic kind which generally just cover things that happen in travel (death while flying etc)
