Options available for teaching abroad after college?

Hi, I am new to this forum so my apologies if my question has already been answered time and again on here. Anyway I am in my second final year of a Business degree and am starting to think about my plans for when I finish next year. I want to go abroad straight away when I finish college and I think teaching would be a good route to go down as it would facilitate this along with allowing me to work. I have spoken to a careers advisor in college who recommended that I apply for the JET programme next year. I hope to go ahead with this but am also just wondering what other options may be available to teach English? I have friends who teach in Spain and other parts of Europe but I would prefer to go somewhere a bit further like Asia or the middle east. I have done some travelling through out Asia and really enjoyed living in a totally different culture. My careers advisor could only really provide me with information about the JET programme and she did not know about any other popular routes to go down. Anyway just thought I would ask on here to see if I could pick up any tips, such as where are most popular locations to teach at the moment etc.

    I appreciate any info,
    Thanks
