There's about 16-17 fruit salads in a pack. Picked up a few packets in Grafton St yesterday, not had them in years.

My teeth hurt just thinking about them. Remember the black ones. What were they called? Black jacks?

Apple Jacks are the only ones gone extinct :(

Are these "Apple Drops" the same chewy types as Fruit Salads, kinda sour?

    *Legs it to M&S*

Bought three packets of the Apple Drops (edited - "Rosey Apples" was their official title) (this is a continuous offer) at Christmas - ate so many of them the roof of my mouth ached.

They've loads of traditional sweets in the offer, much cheaper than pick n' mix

The packet says Rosy Apples, but I guess that's the same thing.

Hmm. I've been looking for *real* apple drops for years ... Haven't managed to find any yet :(

M&S do nice sweets though, I might check the offer out!

Don't think they are the same. If you ever stumble across a shop that still sell's sweet by the quarter they often have jars of both Rosy Apples and Apple Drops.
