PP are doubling winnings on 1st scorers if they score twice in the match for this month. An easy free bet for anyone who wants it (back and lay and hope your player gets two) :D

Celtic have been doing selected goalscorers double odds for weeks.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,853 ✭✭✭Kod-box

Bar one do it in every game and not only double, they treble for 3 quadruple for 4 etc etc

they tend to be a pt behind in the odds though sometimes, Rooney might be 3's everywhere and he'll be 5/2 there, but still worth it, have made a fortune off them this season.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 951 ✭✭✭Verance

Yeah, some laddies do it too. No celtics close to me tho. Kod-Box, do you lay it aswell or do you leave the bet stand?

    Bar one

    Where are Bar one?

This weekend is one of the best for this type of bet.

Arsenal 1/8 Home to Burnley if they just had RVP back :o
Chelsea 1/4 Home to Stoke Drogba 3/1 general around
MU 1/3 Away to Wolves but Rooney may not be playing which makes it a bit harder.
I'll be backing and laying to get stake back on these 3 matches and trying for a good haul with the extra goals. ;)

Not sure if they do Spanish as well but RM are 1/3 (Ronaldo 3/1) and Barca are 1/4 (Messi 3/1) might be worth a look.

Yep and a lot of those teams were big odds on.

Normally it should be quick enough.
He couldn't score at the weekend but has 2 in 45 mins against stronger opposition
It's 100 max stake as well.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,853 ✭✭✭Kod-box

Didnt see anything about this offer online, Bendtner was 5/1 to score 1st so are they paying X3?

    same with Bent tonight too.

AFAIK This is just a shop promotion in PP.
In Bar One it is both in shops and on phones.

    Were the shops open tonight?

The law states that Shops can't open late unless there is Irish racing on, IE Racing at Dundalk this Friday, so the shops will be open till 9:30.

From Apr 1st-Aug 31st shops will be open till 9:30 for Summer Racing.

In PP it's only Double the Odds for Bendtner, Treble the odds if you did the bet in Bar-One.

Bent didn't score 1st, Campbell did.

is this really on offer in pp shops and if so can anyone point out where i can get confirmation of it as i had 80 on rooney for 1st goal tonite:D.
powers were refunding losing 1st goalscorer bets if there was three or more goals in the game(which i seen as nearly a free bet)

So did I, got refunded on 2-1 & 3-1 correct scores;)

Was in there today and the refund screen said

"more then 3 goals" so that's 4 or more goals and not
was three or more goals in the game

    BIG difference:confused:

80 on rooney for 1st goal tonite

You should have got double the odds to the 80 stake.

    paddy powers = :D any other = :P
proper bookmakers, whether it be putting on a grand or taking out a grand, its dealt with as it should be,professionally and with discretion, none of this on the phone for a hundred euro bet so everyone in the shop knows your business,b0llocks.they are the manchester united of bookies and its a pleasure doing business with them.

    (and taking money off them)

    (sometimes)

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,632 ✭✭✭✭okidoki987

I'd say they have lost their Left ones this weekend on the 1st goalscorer doubled
    Rooney
    Torres
    Keane
Drogba might have got them something back but wouldnt think a good result.

Big 4 Accum also would have been expensive.

Bar 1 only treble which is good mind you, but recently ladbrokes have started doing it. I cant understand why maybe because the season is nearly over and they wont be exposed to too much. Bar 1 have definitely lost a lot on first goalscorers this year.

bar one pay X4 aswell, Rooney got it earlier in the season against Hull for me.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,632 ✭✭✭✭okidoki987

    ladbrokes have started doing it.

They are doing it for anytime goalscorer, double the odds if they score a 2nd which I thought was good value until they refused my bet as I hadn't played their striker competition?

If you say this obviously i believe you but Bar 1 one rules are they pay only to treble on first goalscorers. I know because i backed Chris Boyd one day and he scored five, to my shock i only collected for three :(. This was in Navan by the way so maybe there is different ruled per area?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,853 ✭✭✭Kod-box

I dunno maybe the rules have changed, the only small print i saw in there was max payouts €300 for multiples, and its only on televised matches sometimes aswell.

i was a bit confused about the max payout because what if you put a ton on say Rooney at 5/2 without realising, and he gets 2.

I'll be in there tomorrow anyway, so i'll ask to clarify, i definatley got €120 back from a tenner on Rooneys 4 goals that time, and he was 11/4, price went into 5/2 then in any easy game Utd had.
