Ah thanks everyone!!! Just checking in here now. Viva buildup was horrific but the process itself I must say was enjoyable once I got in there. For those of you asking what drugs work, I cant help ye there, as I am now a doctor of diffusion coatings for gas turbine engines! (Who would have thought there could be such a thing?) I celebrated yesterday with a lot of tea, chocolate and then I went for a run! Sun shining, blue skies, and a PhD in my back pocket - happy days!
Thanks for the good wishes, and thanks to ye all for yer support with the running and when morale was low and ye, sometimes even unknowingly spurred me along. Ye are going in my thesis acknowledgements!
Still on cloud 9, still exhausted. Happy happy days, and totally savouring the moment
