    Hi just wondering if anybody is using this wimax system and what they think ?

    Assuming you're talking about Imagine WiMax, you're in the wrong forum. Here's a thread on their service (last few pages, rather than first few will be more useful to you).

    There are great variety of WiMax systems.

    mainly
    1) Fixed WiMax. Good Performance. Actual speed/Contention depends on amount of spectrum and number of users.

    2) Mobile WiMax. Uses up nearly x16 as much resources to give same performance, or if everything is same as Fixed WiMax, then up to x16 poorer than Fixed WiMax.

    Many ISPs have (1). At least one ISP and one trial of (2).
