This may not be the best forum for this question, but I`m looking for opinions on the different types of room lighting.

I think recessed is pretty cool, but its a non runner in many areas of the house, due a vaulted ceiling and the fact its a single storey bungalow and they tend to decimate the air tightness of a room.

Pendants - I`m not too hot on these really, I dont think they will be that attractive

Sconces / Wall lights - I`m kind of interested in these, but I`m a small bit concerned they wont output enough light to illuminate the middle of a room.

Any other advice on fixtures would be greatly appriecated !

    Shed light on the vault
    Uplighters can add drama
    Easy to change bulbs.

    :)
