Ryanair - When to input passport info?

    Hi,

    I am doing a group booking and want to be certain I have this right. Previously when booking flights you used to have to enter passport details when entering passenger info (name & baggage etc) but I have got that far and have not been asked. Has this changed?

    Do you just enter passport details when checking in online?

    Cheers for that. Some of the people haven't got their passports yet but will have before we travel so i wanted to be certain I can book them now.

    Yes, you enter birth dates and passport details when checking in. When booking, all you need are the passenger name, gender and, for women, marital status (Mrs/Miss).

    Ryanair never had that system in place of entering passport info at booking time.

    Think of the complications where passports are re-issued, or renewed between the booking and flight time.

    It was always at check-in which has been answered here already.
