I'm looking to but a wetsuit for a few triathlons during the summer and just looking for some advice.

What type of suit should i be going for and where is the best place to buy them. Any advice at all would be very help full.
Also would it be wise to buy one on-line
    Thanks

I bought one from wiggle.co.uk. Just ordered a medium. Tested in the pool. Fits pretty good.

I would prefer to try one on before buying if possible.

I got mine in Irish fit in Dun Laorighe - it cost 20e more than the on line price but I thought it was worth it to get the right fit.

some pointers that may or may not be of interest.

    1. Fit is king - an expensive suit that doesnt fit right wont do you any favours. This can make buying online a bit tricky.
    2. If your swimming isnt that strong then a suit that offers good buoyancy is one to watch for.
    3. When trying one on or putting a new one you just bought on - cut your finger nails before hand or wear a pair of socks over your hands. Buy a tube of black witch neoprene glue whilst in the shop since suits get nics and cuts through a season.
    4. If you can try before you buy then its even better - some tri clubs put on wetsuit test nights for their members and sometimes open it up to anyone interested.
    5. Dont try on wetsuits hungover and always put the zip to the back ;)

Shops like wheelworx, amphibian king, irish fit in the Dublin area all stock lots of wetsuits from different manufacturers. They'll all offer you advice on what suit to buy as well.

Hope some of this is of use.
