    Folks,
I'm treating mastits and have heard that Tylan (made by Elanco) may be more effective than Tylosin (from Alfasan International), although the latter is one third the price. They both have the same active ingredient. Does anyone have experience in using them?
    Thanks

never knew there was any difference, go with the cheap one imo
unless some one gives you solid proof that one is better than the other

assume this is for mastitis in a milker/ suckler
primodoxine is the drug of choice for me;) in the vein if it is really bad
( that looks bad when ya look back on it)

Yeah, it's a few of the cows and this is their last chance - they're causing me cell count problems. I guess a lot depends on what the vets like to prescribe. I assume, btw, it's the cows you're mainlining on primodoxine:). I think ketamine is the animal drug with recreational uses...
