Is anyone interested in getting together to play old rock songs for 1. practice and 2. the hell of it. ?

I play some guitar and like a lot of music from 50s rock to folk and modern indie music. I think it's practically impossible to meet anyone with serious musical aspirations on here but just to jam might be a bit easier.

Im basically looking for people who see the fun in knocking out Lawdy Miss Clawdy or Lucille or Not Fade Away or even a Beatles song for an hour!

I'm in my 20s, male, Sth Dublin but I dont think age much matters for this.

    Hey there,

What type of stuff are you talking? Nice and clean like the Beatles (who I would never put in the "Garage" camp, personally) or the like of Los Saicos, the Sonics, Link Wray etc?

    Dublin City, Bassist btw

When I think of garage bands I think of all those American groups who sprung up in the 60s literally in their garages playing British invasion covers. That's where I make the Beatles/ garage connection.
