    hi,

Possibly attending an event at the Powerscourt hotel but prices way too steep for us to stay there overnight :(
Any other good hotels nearby that would be an easy taxi ride away?

I had hoped that Powerscourt may have appeared on the 5* hotels list on the supervalu get away breaks but sadly not :(

Glenview Hotel isn't bad, on the N11 south of Enniskerry.

Ramada is a standard chain hotel just south of Bray.

    Hope that helps.

I assume you mean the Ritz-Cartlon in Powerscourt?

Summerhill House Hotel is literally down the road from the ritz.
My mam got married there last summer. It is a nice house hotel

I've stayed in the Summerhill twice already. Its in peaceful surroundings, lovely rooms and helpful staff all for reasonable rates. The bar isn't open until the evenings but that's probably a plus really.

I agree... It has really lovely views... You wouldnt think you were down the road from a motorway there
