    Sebo K has been an integral figure of the Berlin music scene since the early 1990s. Starting out with an enthusiasm for early hip-hop and the nascent break-beat scene, he quickly established – alongside another future star, Dixon – his reputation as a DJ who consistently delivers the goods. By the end of the ‘90s his taste for breaks had morphed into a love affair with house music, and in 2002 he first turned his hand to production. In the following decade he proceeded to craft a series of releases that are the definition of quality over quantity. At the centre of his output is his relationship with Mobilee, whose reputation as one of the most essential German imprints of recent times is largely down to Sebo’s expertly crafted productions.


    Since 2002 he has held a residency at Berlin’s famed Watergate club, and alongside his releases on Get Physical and Cécille his ‘Watergate 4’ mix was among the best releases of last year, proving that Sebo is still right at the top of his game.
