    Howya's!

Also a student of music business.

Looking for a serious band or musicians that would be influenced by reggae/ska and blues music (possibly electro too.)

Would also consider any style of new/original music that sounds different than the thousands of others bands out there.
I love generic genres of rock music but its been done to death and its not what im looking for

23 years old but looking for other musicians of any age once they are talented and dedicated.

Have a huge amount of gigging experince (100+ gigs in the past year and a half)

    Living in Dublin.

Heya. Just thought I'd get in touch. I don't fully match your description but it can't hurt to respond. I'm 22 and an experienced guitarist living in Bray. I've done my business degree too and I'm currently going to the Music Industry EXplained lectures by HotPress. I'm serious about forming a band, finding the sound, and running with it. My brother's my drummer. He's 19 and less experienced but very talented.

Now, I'm not reggae or ska influenced. But I am blues/rock influenced. So maybe there's some common ground. My idea, though we'll see how it works, is to blend my classic rock/blues style guitar playing with a more modern sound and to endeavour to make everything bouncy/danceable. To combine it with perhaps hip hop and/or electro.

As you can see from all the forward-slashes, I haven't made up my mind. I'm just open to seeing where a band of dedicated players can take this idea.

    Any interest?
