Triple Front Mech

I tried to adjust my Dura-Ace Front Mech last night to stop the chain rubbing on the cage and managed to stuff it up completely ! Lower and upper limits seem to be ok, and it changes from Granny to Middle to big Chanirings ok, but quite stiff. Main problem is when I try to change back down again the first click only moves a small bit, not enough to go down onto the Middle ring, and then the next click goes right down to the Granny ring. I've had a look at various online Tutorials, and they seem to cover the basics of limits, but not much on correct cable tension, or fine-tuning.
I've PM'd Mr. Skeffington, but in the meantime anyone got any good suggestions ? I'm supposed to be doing a 200 on Saturday and I'd like to have it sorted by then.
I also got some new Chainrings etc, but before I unpack them can anyone confirm that Ultegra Cassette, Outer and Middle Chainrings and matching Chain will be OK on Dura-Ace Shifters, Inner Chainring and Mechs ? Everything is 9-speed.
    Thanks, LastGasp.

Could be your cable tension is too tight. Loosen it about 1/4 to 1/2 turn and try again, repeating until it shifts down smoothly between all 3. You might have fudged up the lower limit too and might require loosening, you can check this when on the granny ring on the front and largest cog on the cassette.

    Patience and small adjustments.

To the best of my knowledge Dura Ace mechs/ shifters are not compatible with triple cranks as there is no triple in the Dura Ace range.

The Ultegra FD-6703 is compatible with a triple crank.

There were indeed 7803 and 7703 front derailleurs. I don't think they are released at the same time as the new line is launched, not sure though.

Seeing as it is 9 speed, I'm guessing it's 7703: Tech doc here and here.

EDIT: exploded view and instruction documents.

Full Marks for Dirk, 7703 it is.

Unfortunately the Ultegra Chainrings I ordered are not compatible with my Dura-Ace chainset. In Dura-Ace the granny bolts to the middle, and then they both bolt to chainset. The Ultegra middle ring doesn't have anywhere to bolt on the granny ring.

New Chainset ordered, and back to original 53/39/30 Chainrings as that seems to be all that's available !

Full marks indeed. I did not know there was a Dura Ace triple front mech.
You learn something new everyday and all that...
