Dunno if this is the right forum

Went to the Gym there filled out the forms and all and then my blood presure was taken and I was told I couldnt train because it was high the readings where 160 systolic and 99 diastolic I'm 19 smoke about 20 a day and dont drink that much water (1-2 litres a day) and dont do much exercise apart from walking.HBP runs in the Family my Dad suffers from it.

Should I be alarmed and should i visit my gp about it
