I'm going to be in Portugal for a couple of weeks in April and wondering if I see if there is any kind of a race while I'm there. Any distance really, it would just be for fun. Algarve region ideally.

Don't forget your pins! (for your number)

They don't provide pins at races in Portugal (at least in the Algarve, where I've run my one and only foreign race - apart from races outside Cork that is :D:D)

I hadn't any, but obliging medics taped my number on.

Another worthwhile thing, unless your name is something like Fernanda da Silva or Rosa Mota or whatever, is to print your details on a piece of paper. In spite of spelling my name out, Clube Olympico de Lagos made a dogs dinner of my name on the Resultados, but I enjoyed my Corrida de Baia de Lagos!
