It kills me that this used to be so hard to find. Bought a laptop last year but couldn't find any information on the student offer anyway. Literally the day after I bought the laptop there was a stand in the foyer dealing with discounts.

I think at the moment there's a link on dit.ie when you go into current students. Makes it a bit handier to find details, certainly wasn't there when I was searching for it last year. Gah.

Tend to be decent offers though... especially on the apple products, it's very rare that you'll find an apple discount anywhere since they're so controlling of their prices.

I haven't looked this time, but apple's bog standard student offer knocks about €200 off the price and then the DIT one is another 100 or so, that's off something that cost about 1500.

Yeh on his business card the apple rep directs you to www.apple.com/ie/aoc i think it is....

you have to log into dits store and then just he says if your in college you wont need a password but if your at home etc Student and ThunderRoad is the usernames and passwords.

I think hes working on getting dit.ie/apple link for the store!

He sussed me with a copy of iwork too! got a text from him this morning so fair play to him!

Il let him know there some interest on boards.ie about the discount!
